FAQ PAINT
Q: There was supposed to be several images to paint on - Where are they? How do I change image?
A: Just shake the phone to change your line art. If the application supports the line art image browser you will be presented with a list of thumbnails of all the images available that you can scroll throuhg and select line art from. Otherwise the image will be randomly selected from the available line art. If the application supports both these modes, then you can select which of these 2 ways of changing your image you want to use in the Paint Settings.
Also note that when the image is randomly selected, shaking the phone, or when you choose a new image from the image browser - this clears out what you painted - so if you want to save the image to the image library you should do this before changing your image.
Q: When painting the image seems blurred - why is this? Is there something wrong with my App?
A: There are several operations going on that are quite stressfull for the iPhone/iPod while painting in order to get the texture and feel that is presented in the Paint. To reduce this and speed up things, the image is drawn at a lower resolution while you paint. When your finger is lifted from the screen, the image will render in it’s real size and this is why it looks different (and blurred) while you’re painting. In the odd event that the image would stay blurred, just tap on the image and it will adjust itself.
Q: I am tapping on the Paint Settings icon but nothing happens. Why is this button not working? How do I save my image or exit Paint if I can’t get to the Paint Settings?
A: You have to Tap and Hold this icon for Paint to exit to the Settings. This is to avoid exiting Paint by accident while painting (it is very easy to tap this button by mistake while painting - especially if your child is the one doing the painting).
